C5b in the neck?

Hey guys,

I've got an extra C5 kickin' around and was thinking about installing it in my Explorer. But, I was thinking about trying out a distortion in the bridge, and putting the C5b in the neck...

Has anyone tried a c5b in the neck of a mahogany guitar? how did you like it?

What are your opinoins about mixing a A5 pup with ceramic one? Will they sound too different when used together? What can I expect from combining the two?

Should I forget the c5b in the neck? If so, what would you recommend to compliment the Distortion in the bridge?

I cant answer your question directly, but for what its worth, a pair of Distortions would be killer in that guitar. Its my favorite combo to play at my friends house.

Hopefully, someone else can be more help.
