Re: cab construction - how much does it matter?
I use a oversized ported diagonal 2x12 bass cab , its almost the size of a 4x12 but about 6 inches deeper. I save the $ on 2 speakers and its 2 speakers lighter,the sound is huge..I did have to expiment with port tubes to keep it from farting out at high volumes, because it was a tuned cab for bass,..but now its a awesome cab//I wouldnt waste money on a 4x12 again
