Calling all lefties

Hello everyone,
I'm a lefty player and I'd love to have a guitar with P-90's. I can't find any production model that's available left-handed with P-90's as stock. Does anybody know of a guitar that might be what I'm looking for? I'm still at school so it's gotta be a cheapo. And I've got a Epi LP standard for my 1st guitar which I'm very happy with.

I'm beginning to consider buying an a humbucker guitar and changing them over myself. Has anybody got any experiance of this?

I guess I'd get an Epi LP100 or some other all mahogany body (all p-90 guitars seem to be all mahogany bodies)

Have you tryed Southpaw Guitars in Texas yet? I bought the red American Deluxe strat you see in my avatar from them...

That is why I learned to play righty. It was a big pain in the a$$, but now feels completely normal.

Yep,but I'm in no way hurting for great guitars....I don't G.A.S. as much for guitars when I walk into music stores...LOL

I'm fortunate in that I have a great collection of complete lefty guitars....Not one of my guitars is righty strung lefty...

Thanks for the knod john - I'm finishing up a lefty flat top for Pureoldsound within the next couple of weeks and we've already begun discussing a black limba flat top with p-90s

I feel your pain brother. All of us lefties know how tough it is to find AND PLAY good quality guitars. When you start adding specifics like color, pickups, bridge style, etc... that just exponentially increases the frustration. If money is a major roadblock at this time then I would try to find a lefty guitar that is already routed for P90/humbucker size pups and plays well. When I was younger and broke I had this thing about... it had to be a Gibson or it had to be American made... which was the most retarded thing given my financial limitations. Get whatever feels right. Forget about how the stock pups sound because you are going to drop in some P90 Duncans right away! Check out Tokai, Orville, Epiphone, Agile.

Jackson makes lefty swee-tones with p-90's , single coils or humbuckers but they are quite expensive (around 3.000$ retail)
