Can Anybody Help Identify This Pickup?

Currently looking at buying a guitar, clearly they're not the original pickups - Ibanez Gio don't have a model with covered pickups that I know of.

The photo is a little blurred, maybe worn, I'm just hoping maybe something about the signature might jump out at somebody.

It's only selling for $80, so I'm not too fussed at the moment, except I'd like to know more about these before deciding to buy.

Thanks.

Yep, that's definitely what they are. Good eye. Thanks.

It's just a pity they're not really what I'm looking for, guess I'll give them the bad news.

If you like the guitar why not buy it? If it turns out that you don't like the pup it's easy to replace. Seems like a good price for a guitar with a Live Wires pup

It wasn't about the guitar. I wanted the pickups, if they were anything else and passive, for my Ibanez LP copy. I don't want to route the body of that guitar for actives... because reasons.

The Gio is a low end model with pickups probably made in Korea. So it’s not like they are great pickups. Same thing you can buy for $18 on the Internet.

The Ibanez branded pickups in the more expensive models are made by DiMarzio.
