okay, i know i have posted this clip b4, but i think i got about 2 or 3 responses, i am hoping that more people will look atthe post and listen to the clip. it's of my band live. there are some errors and a little bit of feedback at certain points, but it was only our 3rd gig.

Maybe part of the reason you haven't gotten many responces is because Soundclick is such a pain in the arse to deal with. That link takes you to the band info page. Whats the name of the song that you want us to listen to?

Hey man, "Red Sea" was good, but the lead guitar part is too loud, I think. Or boost the rhythm guitar.

"Transylvania" was good as well. :13:

i was thinking about naming it a blues thing jsut to get people to listen, all the recordings w/ the exception of trnaslyvania and Honor(live) have the levels all wrong, the louder gutiar is my rhythm guitarist, Red Sea is his song so he does a little soloing so thats why you can only hear him. the song i want you guys to listen to is Honor Live it's the best one we have

Well, this may not be fair for me to say, 'cause its not really my "style" of music, but it sounds like the musicianship is there, but its so hard to tell because the recording is really awful.

I think my telephone has a wider bandwidth. :laugh2:

Really though, what did you record this with? If you could work on that end of the deal, I think "Red Sea" and "Honor" have potential.

unfortunately we're recording through a digital camera but hopefully within the next month we will have some digital recordings done. or at least some better recordings. i recorded the finished version of Red Sea, but it's just me and theres no drums.

Oh man . . . thats pretty funny. I was actually going to ask if you recorded through a cell-phone, and then decided not to because I thought it might be cruel. :laugh2:

Well, maybe it's the recording, but there's way too much guitar. Let the bass and drums have some room. Especially the bass. It will give your stuff what I like to call "gravity".

Second, relax. Let that **** rip. But one thing you should never do is reach for "high fruit" unless you're having a really good night. If you feel uncomfortable, just settle into what you know best and play it as strong as you can.

That's my two-pfennigs worth.

the bassist wasn't there to record w/ us thats why theres very little bass
