2 quick questions:

The Roland JC-120 has 2 clean channels with high and low inputs...

Can I plug two guitars into both high inputs of my Roland JC-120?

Can I plug my DD-20 stereo delay into both channel inputs, as if it were two amps?

Yes, you can plug one guitar into channel one high input, and another guitar into channel two high input. Do not plug two guitars into the same channel (one in high, one in low).

Yes you could do the same thing with the outputs on your delay, but to my knowledge it would be mono, so why would you?

Re: Can I plug two guitars into both high inputs of my Roland JC-120?

the JC120 is stereo... hence two inputs...
It's stereo, because of the chorus effect. I don't think that each channel is its own amp/speaker combo. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

each channel of the jc-120 is it's own amp

You're telling me that if my guitar is only plugged into channel one, I'm only getting 60 watts and one 12" speaker?

I don't believe it.

Re: Can I plug two guitars into both high inputs of my Roland JC-120?

it could be that if you plug the second input in, you break a link that makes both channels operative on one input ... so 1 input would be 120W and both speakers and two inputs would be 2 x 60W, each with their own 12" speaker

i believe that this is it

linky

i'd say that it's two seperate amps actually

2x60W power sections

That info was super helpful, cream123.

So I guess I can get true stereo delay without having to buy another amp.

I can't wait to try it and see how it sounds.

That makes sense!

Hi guys!

I am bumping an old post..

Did you get the stereo delays to work, in true stereo?

I hope you are able to reply to this, since this is very important for me to find out.

Thank you all.
