Yup you can do it yourself if you know which end of a soldering iron gets hot, or pay a professional to do it. It is very easy to change out pickups, just requires time and patience.

It will probably be reverse polarity from the stock Fenders, so use black for ground and green for hot. If you choose a hb'er that's 2-wire coaxial, flip the wires on both singles.

You might have to file the pick up hole or rectangle on your pick guard if it doesn't fit exactly.
