Can I see your fly rig?

I am thinking about going fly-rig. I could put my Tech 21 Liverpool at the end of the chain as the amp sim and go into my JBL EON powered speaker. I would love to see some similar set ups and get some feedback from people that are using fly-rigs live.

I use the Tech21 Samsamp FlyRIg V5 with Fender/Marshall/Mesa tonestack, boost, delay and verb... It's pretty great.

I use it mostly for gigs when I'm playing multiple different instruments (not guitar the whole set) and don't want to bring full rig (Pedal board etc) and I always have it set up on my one of my halfstacks for guests to use when jammin.

Also, Ive tracked using the DI out -it's good for nice clean track.

Define Fly Rig. You talking a small grab and go rig or?

I thought he meant SansAmp Fly Rigs only.

My home-made 'fly' rig is just this (I keep a DI in my cable case as needed, or go into someone else's backline clean amp when sitting in with others).. Sometimes I don't even have the AMT on there.

Yeah, I use a SansAmp Fly Rig 5 v. 2. It is about as small as you can get a direct rig. I also bring it with me to every gig in case the main rig goes down and I can't get it up and running quickly.

I like the Fly Rig 5 v2 as well. Used it quite a bit until I got the Humboldt Simplifier, which is a DI amp/cab sim solution that is completely analog. I run my pedals I want in front and time based stuff in the effects loop (yes, it has one). Got it for using with a prior band but when that gig ended, decided to give it a try with the worship group. I still have the Fly Rig 5 v2 and will not part with it unless they (Tech21) come up something new and improved that I just gotta have. For a quick grab and go DI solution, can't beat it really.

Yeah, grab and go. I am thinking a board, amp sim and direct to house or a powered speaker in smaller gigs.
Got it. Mine is my PRS MT 15 head paired with ether my small 1/12 Tweeker cab or my Ax Trac Iso cab where I need silent stage with a small pedal board. On the board have a Compressor, a Verb and a Delay. Small easy to grab and go, lightweight, super easy to set up and dial in, plus sounds amazing. Have a photo of the rig packed up and ready to load out and play a gig somewhere but it's not on this computer will find it and post it.
Clip live with this rig running the Tweaker cab and unmiced.

Here is another clip with the little PRS rig. Here you can see the head and cab behind me and tell how small it it. The small pedal board runs a Boss CS 3 compressor, a DD7 Delay and a Strymon Blue Sky Verb. Little rig will surprise you how hard it can rock even when playing with a loud drummer.
