I got two tube amps to practice on right now: Blackstar HT-5 ( 5w ) and Blackheart Handsome Devil ( 7w/15w ). I order Boss RC-3 Looper today from local music store..
I am running those two amps through Orange 1x12 Closed Back cabinet with Vintage 30 inside. the question is: can drum rhythm beats from that looper damage the cabinet speaker? till now i have using my Roland Cube 40 for backing tracks. i just run the backing tracks ( drums, vocals, bass ) from my computer, and using Pace Maker to change the pitch and tempo of the current song/backing track up or down. and playing guitar at same time through those two small tube amps.. so, separate. now i am going step further, so i order the real loop thing. but, can it damage speakers or tubes and what are common suggestions over it ?
I played both of those tube amps on half volume, and i am using a boost overdrive/distortion pedal a lot...
