can my split HB be causing stratitis? (HSS)

Agree... I've already raised the middle up a little, which improved both "combined" positions. I'll just have to get used to a middle pickup being in my way, I guess.

That’s always been my biggest issue with Strats (and all guitars with a middle pickup really).
Well, that and I hate the volume knob location.
I made mine a one vol/tone setup using the two lower knob locations.

I'm finding that myself. I'll see how it goes over time. I guess it's ok if you're a "just floor it" kinda' player, like SRV.... but if you want to switch pickups alot and use the vol control to lower gain (like, for example, Andy Timmons)... it's definitely something that is going to take some getting used used.

Tele = just hammer it
Strat = requires more finesse LOL
