Can only an Antiquity HB cover be bought?

A few years ago, I ordered an Antiquity Humbucker from the Custom Shop as a 4 wire pup, but did not get the cover at that time.

Is it possibly to purchase just the cover? If not the aged one, how about a standard cover? Anyone know the price of just the aged cover?

Thanks!

I have the standard covers in stock.

I don't think you can buy the aged covers directly but you might find somebody here that pulled a cover off a double cream Antiquity that would sell it to you.

Thanks for the link! I was hoping someone from Duncan could answer if they sold them, but time will tell.

You know, it's not that hard to make your own!

A pair of nickel plated covers is only $20.

Distressing them with super fine finishing sandpaper or a green Scotchbrite pad doesn't take that long to do. Just copy the wear marks on an old humbucker and take your time so it looks right and the wear is in the right places.

Scratch them up a little here and there with something metal, maybe give 'em a whack or two to put the smallest of dents where something like that might've struck them over the last 40 or 50 years and that's about it.

Some people use a little of the stuff used to stain gun barrels black too...it'll get into the stratches you've created and help make the pickup cover look old. It comes in a small blue bottle.
