Can pickup covers be installed on regular pickups which came without covers, and is this process reversible ?

So where do i get regular and trembucker spaced covers.......?

Yes and yes.

I would have recommended forum bro Matt as a good source, but he just closed his shop down. But you should be able to get them from any Duncan dealer.

I'm not a fan of Allparts. Bad service and I don't like their covers.

I have no idea what those covers will fit becasue they don't list the dimensions. I think they expect us to guess.

You could always call them and ask.

Do you have a double slug humbucker?

Yes, SD does sell covers separatetly (although I don't think they have covers without polepiece holes).

If one needs pickup covers, a helpful hint is not to rely on generic covers for the pickup. Get the covers that fit the pickup from the manufacturer that made the pickup!!!

There are so many variations between manufacturers and eras, the probability of a mismatch is great.

Never bought from them.

You want nickel silver covers for the best tone. So make sure whatever you get isn't brass.

Search "Seymour Duncan cover" on e*** and scroll all the way down until you find the seller Banjomikez. Great service.

I didn't see your location in your profile but he only sells to the United States, Canada, United Kingdom & Australia. If anything you'll be able to see the proper SD covers.

the best covers i bought were Seymour Duncan covers from guitarelectronics.com
they're nickel, non-trem spaced, and $15

that site is also a good place to shop, done business with them a couple of times

www.guitarelectronics.com also sells trembucker spaced covers and they r made by Duncan, so bingo!
