Can someone help me identify my speakers?

Hi guys, I've got a speaker mystery to solve.

I have a couple of old HH amps knocking around and one of them is far heavier than the other. Never thought much of it, I just assumed that the heavier one had different speakers in it, they both sounded good and were both really cheap so didn't really feel the need to look into it.

A couple of weeks back I opened them both up and sure enough the lighter one had the stock HH PL-50 speakers in it and the heavier one had the speakers in it that I have attached in a link below.

This is a tricky one because they have literally no labels or markings on them whatsoever so I have no idea what they are. They'll be 8ohms, and come from a 100 watt amp, and ceramic magnets by the looks of it and are heavy!! Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the reply.

I've now found out from another forum that as HH made everything in house, they often just had speakers go straight onto the factory floor and then straight into the amps.

I've seen pictures of these speakers in 50 and 100 watt format now, so that's what it is apparently.

How do they sound and what are you going to do with them?

Well the speakers are definitely the best part of the amp, not to say it's a crap amp, it's gotten me through many a gig. The speakers tend to have a big bottom end with some pronounced highs, the mids are there but not taking your head off which is nice.

I'm going to put together a Tweed Twin overtime whenever I have spare cash, build the cab with some good pine etc. There's no rush on it as I've get an old Twin Reverb that I'm gigging with, and when I'm recording I can pop one of the HH amps next to it for any stereo stuff
