Can a 3 pickup les paul custom be wired this way

Custom 5 bridge

1 master tone
3 independent volumes for the pickups
where in the middle position, by manipulating the volume controls i can have 2 pickups on 10 and one pickup on 0 or just one pickup running etc.

as i understand the way its wired, if u have any pick up on 0 in the middle position all the pickups turn off?

how do u thinkt his pickup combo will sound?!

look at an ES5 schematic...and if you wire the Gibson volume pots a little differently, having one pu off will not short everything to ground...

The Mickey Baker LP Custom (3-pu) had an extra pot in place of the switch. He preferred to adjust his pickup selection via the volume pots.

Yeah, it can be done.
