Can two heads rock one cab?

Is it possible to hook two heads up to one cabinet, and switch between the two during a performance with a foot switch?

Not unless it is a stereo cab.

they do make a device that allows you to do that. it's some sort of unit that both of the heads plug into, and it keeps a dummy load on whichever amp isn't being used through the cabinet.

i can't remember the name of the unit or who makes it...sorry i can't be of much help, but i'm sure someone else will be able to chime in and fill you in more.
