Can you get the sound of Hard Rock with an Engl amp?

I was thinking of buying an Engl Fireball since it is on my budget and it looks like a total machine! But I'm wondering if I can get the sound of something like guns n roses type music on the engl amp.

Probably

Well, Ritchie Blackmore and Steve Morse have no trouble getting great hard rock sounds, so I'd say yes.

Uriah Heep & diamond head use em, they both sounded killer live.

This is why I love engl stuff, almost used in all genres,
Black metal (gorgoroth), Death Metal (Nile) and progressive stuff (early Periphery) as well as more classic acts such as Blackmore and diamond head have all used them and if you get something like a invader ii which has a bunch of switches for each channel as well as killer smaller heads such as the ironball and gig master, also lots of cool signature heads like the Marty Friedman and Steve morse signature heads.

Isn't rock just metal with the gain down lower?

Saw Marty Friedman a month ago or so with his band. Used his ENGL Inferno signature head.
His tone was amazing that night, and definitely more Hard Rock than modern Metal, with a ton of gain for leads.
But it definitely wasn't a djent machine.

If you can't get a good Hard Rock tone out of a Fireball, I'll blame you!
