SoCalSteve New member May 7, 2005 #3 Re: Can you mix and match pre amp tubes? Yeah, I read this tip from Gearjoneser to put a premium tube - GT 12AX7-C in the first slot, V1 and put JJ's in the others (not that JJ's aren't premium, just not as expensive as the GT-C or M).
