Wondering whether or not a guy can put a cover on a Dimarzio pickup that has those hex screws for polepieces. Like the PAF Pro?

Please advise.

If you look at the DiMarzio site (www.dimarzio.com), pull up the PAF Pro and see if they are offered with those covers. If so, then a guy can put a cover on them. A gal can too.

You have to keep an eye on the spacing of the wholes on the cover, though. Those DiMarzios have odd string spacing, so a cover that would fit a Gibson or a Duncan pickup wouldn't fit a DiMarzio.

Yeah. DiMarzio makes their f-spacing without making the bobbins wider. It's the sort of thing that makes it hard to swap out in some instances (like some of the EBMM direct mount guitars). I've asked people at the Duncan company about any options for that....they indicated it's come up and that seems to be about as far as I ever heard about it.
