Fusion1 Active member Mar 29, 2005 #3 Re: Can You remove Slug Poles? Best way to remove them is taking a screw pole piece and pressing the slug out through the top. You might need a hard metal object to use to push it through or tap it gently with a hammer or something hard.

Artie Peaveyologist Mar 29, 2005 #4 Re: Can You remove Slug Poles? I've rebuilt a couple of pups, and the slugs slide out fairly easily. Like Benjy said, just push them out from the bottom.
