Cannot pair my Blackout AHB-2

Can anybody help?
I just installed a blackout AHB-2 in the bridge position, its an awesome pup and I absolutely love it!
I need to turn the gain down to about 4 to get the perfect distortion which is fine.
The problem I have is that when I flick to my neck pup, Livewire CH-II to do a solo the gain is too low!
Obviously I have an issue with the 2 pups pairing together, the livewire ch-II needs gain needs to be about 6 or 7.
Is there a pup that I can pair with the blackout AHB-II??????
Or is there another solution to my problem?????

Have you already switched the jumper on the bottom of the AHB-2 to low output?
In case you haven´t, there is no way it will ever balance with other pickups.

Purchase a EMG PA-2 to install in your axe for the neck position. 20db of gain at the flick of a switch or knob. That way you get the tone from what ever neck PuP you are using, and the added volume to match your AHB-2.

ps...real men don't "run low output"...;-)

It would be a lot easier to just put an L-pad on the hotter pickup. An L-pad is just two resistors. Assuming you're using a 25k volume pot, here's the values:

(You'll probably want somewhere between 3 and 6 db. Use the closest standard value resistor.)

I have an Ahb-2 in the bridge, As-1 (single-sized) Blackout in the middle and a regular Blackout in the neck & they work fine....maybe because there's more physical space between the neck & bridge p'ups with an h-s-h guitar like mine (?) Also I have the Ahb-2 lowered quite a bit more than the neck blackout (which is also pretty low)...
