I've decided that I'll try a Jazz neck in my alder-bodied Strat, since I'll be using the neck for clean/low gain rather than high gain. But, I can't make up my mind about the bridge...JB or '59? This is practically impossible to figure out when you can't hear the pups in your guitar first to see if you like them! The JB seems to be a "favorite", but many people are complaining of it being too trebly; this could be bad in an alder Strat. The '59 has a lower output, but IMO they sound similar on the sound clips. (I know; computer speakers aren't the best for the clips!) Since the '59 is compared to the "PAF", it should have enough gain for classic and southern rock. I've read a lot of reviews, but 98% of them have these pups in LP style mahogany guitars, and that doesn't help me out at all.
