All the theorising and catalogue browsing in the world is no substitute for actually getting your paws on the instruments.

Not sure if this was aimed at me, but I have played a couple of the Iron Labels at GC and I own three RGTs. I love Ibanez to death, but I just don't love their high-end bolt ons. But you are right of course. Buying any guitar sight unseen is a risk, buying a B-Stock guitar sight unseen even more so.

I am guessing muttznmongrelz is reacting to the neck-thru feature as well. I bought an Ibanez VBT-700 from him that is absolutely amazing. If he isn't kicking himself every day for ever letting that one go, I'll do it for him.

It was aimed at anyone who chooses to evaluate guitars solely on their printed specs.

Heh... I just noticed that one of my RGT's is this very same exact guitar. I guess MGR hasn't pulled down the ebay listing yet.
