I ordered a "Brobucker", and a "S-Deco". One is for my les paul custom silverburst, and the other is for my Honeyburst standard.

NICE! You just bought one of the best pafs the custom shop has to offer. All you need is a page humbucker & a '78 and you'll be set! I ended up ordering the custom phat cat, BTW. I can't wait to try it as well!

Just know this, the wait is well worth it. What are you looking to get anyways? I've been thinking about a custom phat cat or staple, but I guess it'll have to wait until after NAMM.

That is true. The Custom 8 you loaned me had something special going on with it.

If you're going to keep in the custom shop state of mind with that many LP's, you have got to try the CS Jimmy Page set. I've never been a fan of low output pickups, but good god those things sound fabulous in a heavy hunk of wood!

I called up MJ last year and ordered the CS Jimmy Page set. I agree with you 100% that these pickups sound incredible! It can take a few tries to get through to the Custom Shop around December but it is usually busy around this time of year. Only took a month to get the pickups shipped to Canada so great service overall. Thank you MJ!

Welcome man!
Nice to see musicians thinking after 17 years of playing out of the box, even with their classic instruments!
Be brave, try new stuff. I am sure that MJ has always some hidden tricks and new ideas for a good wind.
