Ooooh... me likey!!! Looks like those scales feel real. Nice! I've sworn-off "cheap" guitars... but that one is VERY tempting.

The original DeMartini snakeskin is like one of ten baddest axes EVAH!

No doubt the cort can't touch the Charvel's....still, not bad for 3-4 bills.

I wondered that too. My guess would be: paint a base coat, cover the guitar in a mesh net or something similar, paint on the snake colors, pull up mesh to produce the scale pattern, clear coat.

The ORIGINAL WDM is real snakeskin. THAT is BAD@$$.

Graphics, no matter how well done, can't touch that.

And even if carved, while cooler yet, is still not real snakeskin.

The v is cool cuz the pattern has variation which looks more realistic. I wonder if those have much tone cuz they are so thin

IDK. It has a tone knob; you could always turn it "up". :scratchch

It does look cool, though. The color palette is killer.
