Possibly, but I think this guy is probably very intelligent and these "blunders" are in an extremely controlled set of variables he's already well accounted for. That's part of the charm for me. Kinda like that video with the Kendrick amp guy that shorted out the input jack with his hands deliberately to make it look like he was getting shocked by a capacitor. It's twisted humor and maybe downplays the importance of discharging caps, but amusing nonetheless.
