Carbon Copy

Re: Carbon Copy

I think it's one of the best analog delay pedals on the market right now period, add to that the extremely low cost for any analog delay and it's even more impressive!

Jorge Tripps of Way Huge fame as well as designer of several Line 6 units not to mention the amazing Dunlop/Hendrix line designed it. The earliest ones got a little static for having a weak modulation, I dug it but some folks didn't. The newest ones have an "upgraded" modulation...stil the same but has the ability to get a little deeper detune.

Remember, it's not nearly as crisp as a digital delay and doesn't have the tone of tape...it's pure analog darksih repeats, kind of funky tone, etc. If you like the old DM2/3 from Boss, the old Ibanez analog delays, etc you'll dig the CC.

Re: Carbon Copy

I had purchased a Ibanez AD9 but returned it a few days later. The delay time was just too short. The Carbon Copy does not have this issue. Seems like a nice pedal, but I tend to favor the cleaner sound of digital delays. I have 3 DD3's.
