Hi Mike sorry for a late reply, I have been away on a semi retirement from this place.
It is in the od range, but it can get pretty hot, it was made to sound close to a stack on 10, big fat and with plenty of bite.
I have several version of it, have made one custom one with FET's, that one sounds abit more vintage and less hotrodded, allthough it too can get pretty hot.
Here is the FET one, same config as a standart Plexitone, just with FET's.

They are both eq'ed for the sound I wanted, they follow the amp pretty closely, so do not expect much Marshall sound on a trad Fenderbox, the mids are to low for the right bite and clarity, it likes British styled amps best, that is what it was designed for.
