Funny, Allan doesn't even use this guitar- he uses custom DeLaps and his old Steinberger. Apparently he wanted Carvin to make a headless instrument, and they wouldn't. I wonder if he was allowed to run free with the design what kinds of odd things he would want. I like the look of the Carvin Holdsworth and love the idea of the hollow model but never tried one.
I have read about that. The deal is that Gibson owns Steinberger which holds the patent on that design.
