Carvin amps

Has anyone tried the carvin vintage 16 amp, as I am thinking of getting it to use it for small gigs.

Yep hated the thing! I have owned a BUNCH of Carvin amps but IMO those are not cool. It was mushy when cranked and muddy + lacked clean headroom.
I have a buddy who does some mods on the Carvin Vintage series like the Nomad and Bellair that turns them into great amps but that Vintage 16 IMO is a DOG!
Want the ULTIMATE small gig amp?? Find a used Zinky 25 watt Blue Velvet. I snagged one a few weeks ago and it's amazing!!!
