Carvin GT-12 Speakers

I bought 4 of these to replace the 4 Fender Defender speakers in my A cabinet. Their compairable to the Celestion Vin30's, and they only cost $ 69.99 ea. Has anybody here tried them or herd them ? Their the std speaker in Carvin Amps.

OK, I've owned a Nomad that has the GT12 speaker (just recently sold it), and through a few years of on and off use it went through 2 of them (the tone just died off or started making farty noises, a new speaker fixed it). The first GT12 died a few days after I bought the amp, the second died a couple months after I sold it. Let's just say the new owner is putting in a Weber, and I would do the same.

As for the sound, I had no objections, but I didn't really try dropping in other speakers or anything.
