Carvin Selling Greenbacks for $79.99

I just got one of these from Carvin. It's made in England, 25w, 16 ohm and sounds great. I now have 2 greenbacks and 2 weber blue dogs in my 412 and the combo is great :saeek:

I have owned a set of original greenbacks in the past. I don't know the real difference between these and the originals, but I did not automatically dislike them because they are not old

That's cool, are you sure they're made in England though? I thought the only thing left made in England besides Custom Shop stuff was the Neodymium Century line.

"Made in England" on the green plastic and I think the city is "Ipswitch", as noted on the magnet.

Carvin is a great place to buy aftermarket parts. I wonder if they can get me the Celestion H-30's cheaper than other places?

They sell the v30 but I have not seen the H30 there. I think they only have these 2 Celestion models because the Legacy amp has used both of them in the past.

Those are the only two I've seen them sell. The V30's go for over $100 the last I checked.

If you want original Floyd Rose tremolos, they're cheaper at Carvin than anyplace else.

That sx200 2x12 is actually a nice amp for solid state. That's a killer price at $259. That'd be my recommendation to someone who wants a decent amp for cheap.

It was your orignial post that got my attention on this. I went back to find it, but couldn't, so I posted again.

Maybe it's a bunch of over stock. I thought the greenbacks were made in Korea these days. It probably would be a good idea to Call Carvin and make sure you are getting the English version.
