Carvin wiring help

Ok, I've got a Carvin pickup, with four wires coming off the lead. I know where the Red, Black and Bare go, but what the hell do I do with the white one? I looked up a Carvin wiring diagram, and they show a green, which this does NOT have.

how old is the pickup? Is the outer shield clear or black?

Black. I should also mention it's the "SD" model.

Their wiring diagram would have you believe that the White & Green wires are analagous to Duncan's Red & White.

It's still black, and i don't know how old it is
