Casino with Gibson P90s Magnet Swap help

Hi all, long time since I've posted but I need help for the experts.

I know P90 magnet swaps aren't new but I can't find much information around hollowbody applications.
Just picked up an Epiphone casino Gary Clark Jnr on offer, amazing guitar but feel the pickups need 'tuning' somewhat.
Suggestions or real life experience and successes with Gibby P90s in a hollowbody?

At the moment the neck is too dark and the bridge needs more beef, twin A3s in the neck and
twin A4s in the bridge? Don't want to kill the character of the guitar.
The A5s in there could be improved I'm sure.

Thanks for listening...

Thanks hamerfan, have some around but didn't realise they were available at that price!

Common issue with P-90's. If you dial in the amp EQ for the neck, the bridge is too bright. Dial it in for the bridge, and the neck is too dark. As you surmised, mag swaps can fix that.

An A5/A3 pair or two A3's in the neck should help. An A4/A3 may work (never tried it). I use polished mags in the neck for a little sharper high end.

In the bridge slot I add beef with an A8/A4 pair. It adds mids, and dials down the treble, making the PU better balanced. I use rough cast or unpolished mags here.

Thanks blueman, I'll be honest I'm not too confident in the changing process (as simple as it sounds), will try the A3 pair in the neck. Never used an A8, wasn't sure if that would be too much in a hollow, have only read about it in SG's and LPJs.
Any major difference in A4/A5 vs A4/A8 in the bridge?

Thanks again

Swapping mags in a P-90 is easy. The PU's held to the guitar by two long screws, and the coil is held to the baseplate by two screws. Slide the mags out one-at-a-time. To orient, push the old mag out halfway and hold the new one against it so the ends repel. If you get mixed up, the mags in a P-90 are laying side-by-side, repelling each other.

An A4/A8 pair will have a little more output, mids, and warmth.

Thanks again, I'm not labouring this, just want to get it right,
A4/A8 bridge - which magnet nearest the bridge?
A3/A3 neck - work ok with the above or would it be too weak?

Again, came here for the experts experience and appreciate your time
