I am not completely sure, but I think just the design of the paint changed.

Thread resurrection; but wanted to comment after living with my Catalina for a while. I absolutely love the sound and controls; but never get any real mileage out of the dynamic feature (and am I the only one that thinks the foot switches are laid out backwards). I would love to see another version in a smaller, one foot switch package, minus the the dynamic feature for a little less $.

Glad you noted this. Thanks. You could use the same 4 knob form factor as the Vise Grip => perfecto!

Still using the Catalina; and is definitely my favorite!; but still finding the dynamic feature conflicts on my natural picking dynamics.
