Category #4 SUBMISSIONS: Best Ibanez

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
Say what you want about Ibanez - they make some killer guitars. And generally at a great price point/performance. And of course, they have some vintage awesome too.

I know we have a crap-ton out there. Let's see them! Must be Ibanez neck and body. You could have replaced everything else.

Closes Sunday July 10th.

Re: Category #4 SUBMISSIONS: Best Ibanez

Sorry for the fingerprints she's a player. This is my 81 MIJ Ibanez Iceman. The bridge has been replaced with a Kahler hybrid 7200, An SD Dimebucker in the bridge and an SD Jazz in the neck. There are switches to split each pickup and a phase switch. She shounds like she looks it is a beast of a guitar. The Jazz in the neck gives a great balance that lets you back off of the metal edge and play anything from Jazz to Blues on her. It is finshed off with Spezel locking tuners.

My current main player and the first thing I ever airbrushed. Yes its a cheap, low end unit, but everyone who's tried it says its an awesome player.

89 EX with an overwound black logo JB/Jazz combo

Wow! That's sweet! How does she play & sound?

Plays and sounds very good. Really like the hollow body, nice tone and handy, you can play it just about anywhere as it sounds real cool without an amp.

Rachel... my 2005 Artcore AS83. Replaced the stock ACH pickups with P-Rails & Triple Shots, and rewired with independent volume controls, series-parallel, phase reverse, and no-load tone pots.

She plays and sounds great, and is currently my #2!

The effort of this post alone should qualify for final ten

Re: Category #4 SUBMISSIONS: Best Ibanez

Prestige Artist AR 2000 from the year 1999. Bought her new in 2004 after it had languished on the rack at a local shop for several years and been through 2 failed layaway's. This guitar has the single sickest 3d figured flame top I have ever seen on ANYTHING!!

Figure in the Mahogany from the rear is no joke either!

Cool rosewood headstock overlay as well as real rosewood pickup rings.
