I just installed and played a new set of pickups that I picked up from a guy off of ebay. They are zebra styled humbuckers.
My Epi Les Paul std was getting outdone by every other guitar it was almost as if it didnt exist. But now, its like a whole new monster!
That 10yr old 9.7 lb korean hunk of wood took on a whole new voice.
heres a crude shot. Nothing special, other than either the lack of wax potting or the fact they did a tidy job and there is virtually no residue.
They are 2 conductor. Fine by me.
If these are chinese crap-pups then may my ears be fooled. through my Blackhearts (ant, giant, devil) the response is so dialed in and the overdriven tones and leads give you the "O" face. Crazy. Crazy. Crazy.
