None of the copies I've heard sounded like a Celestion Alnico Blue. The closest to a vintage 60's alnico blue is the Celestion Reissue of it...but it is quite a bit brighter than the old originals I own. The Weber P12B (or whatever model number he has on it now) is to warm and dark sounding and doesn't sound much like an original or a reissue IMO. The Eminence is a cool speaker but doesn't have the texture and vibe of the Celestions.
I'd like to hear one of the new Alnico Golds too...haven't had the opportunity.
