I found a used cab at GC that has 2 Mesa C90s in 16 ohms. The thing is... I have always found both the Mesa C90 and the Celestion C80 to be very similar, exc the Mesa sounds more "brown" with a nice open feel and decent break up. The C80 sounds kinda box-y and stiff to me.
I realize I have way more experience with the C90s, and a broken in speaker (vs the new 80s I have played) will have a different tone - i.e. more open.
Anyone want to compare these speakers?
