Celtic Aedan Amplifier

You.

Actually, the description in youtube reads:

The Aedan is Cathode-biased EL34 creation. It's kinda like I took the front end preamp off my Franklin and combined it with power section of my Edana 45. But, instead of using the fixed bias design on the Edana 45, I decided to go with a cathode biased designed. The harmonics just leap off your guitar and fingers. Aedan is designed to be overdriven. But, it's not that fizzy gain that I can't stand. It's just more melodic to my ears. It really makes me smile. (A LOT!)

I was worried that I had only created a higher gain version of the Franklin. But just like little Frankie, there are some wonderful chimey cleans just a twist of the knobs away., no matter the volume. The Treble and Bass controls are highly interactive. This is an amp that takes a bit of time to get to know. There are a multitude of tones to be found. The Cut control is in the power section is is most effective when the Master is above 50%.

PS This amp had a name change to avoid some confusion with another amp maker. So, don't let the photos mislead until I get another faceplate burned.

Tubes are 2xEL34, 1x5AR4 and 3 12AX7's. 35 watts.

Using an old Lotus Strat, original pickups. Hit the neck and bridge pickups on the demo... Love the amp!, Reminds me of my Carlsbro heads a bit.

Re: Celtic Aedan Amplifier

Yeah - he probably copied that from the Celtic website or an email from Scott or something, except the last line seems to be his own. What's the problem here?

Re: Celtic Aedan Amplifier

Actually, the description reads:I think???

He clearly states he built it! Which is not correct!

Now who is the pinhead?
No he didn't. Yes , we all saw that in the " comments " below the clip BUT if you actually listened to it, this is what he says at the beginning of the clip.

0:20 " A Celtic amplifier. It's still in the test drive stage , that I've been given the privilege to make some noise with "

You obviously didn't or you wouldn't have posted what you did in the first place.
Great way to go; A half baked assertion based on a presumption.

Maybe if he didn't slap on all that echo we would actually be able to hear the amp.
