Celtic Franklin!

Stevo

Tonus Maximus Pacificas
Manufactured by our favorite amp builder in the great state of Texas, here is a clip of the Celtic Franklin :beerchug:

This great looking little 15 watter loves to be turned up and it's plenty loud. The clean tone is superb and I really like the way it breaks up harmonically. It has a master volume and I recorded this clip at pretty low volume. Not bedroom volume, but no where near rock band volume. I used a little bit of reverb on the recording.

Franklin, Les Paul, Seth Lover, Jazz

Re: Celtic Franklin!

That is a great clip and great playing. I like the tune a lot.

The tones are first rate. Did you use an OD pedal or was the gain just from cranking the gain on the amp? Great job.

Re: Celtic Franklin!

Thanks for listening you guys :)

I received this thing at work yesterday and I was chomping at the bit all day, knowing that it was sitting in my car :laugh2: I got home at about 6:30p and just started jamming, and came up with this little dittie.

I didn't use any pedals. I just turned up the preamp until I found a sweet spot with low volume.

Scott_F did a nice job on this bad-boy..

First off, I love those chords, that is one of my favorite ditties of yours Stevo. Really nice to hear that amp in action, beautiful chime on those chords and lovely lead tones.

Scott, it sounds great!!

Re: Celtic Franklin!

Wow... the tone is amazing out of that thing; I may be a metal head but I can appreciate good smooth tones when I hear them :p. Amazing playing too! Definitely good to know that Scott's amps rock!

Pretty much how I feel...I appreciate how great the amp sounds, though it's far from what I prefer. Very cool vox-ish sound...a little smoother and not quite as chimey, perhaps.

And Steve, you are on fire lately Bro!....great tune and playing! Keep it up! :D

Now get Scott to send you an Edana and lets hear that beast! :D

Re: Celtic Franklin!

this does sound really good......a 30w version of this amp would really tempt me

Thanks bro :) I tried to make all of the notes count this time. You have a knack for that.

Re: Celtic Franklin!

I hope that the pedal will do the amp some justice, because that is one sweet amp you got there!
Awesome job from Scott.
Sorry man I forgot to compliment the very good playing....that really suits you alot, this thing you did here.

Re: Celtic Franklin!

okay, got on a pc with crappy speakers, but speakers nonetheless...

steve, great chops man. nice song. thanks!

Re: Celtic Franklin!

Damn... Scott, when you come out with a 30w one, I think I may have to cave in. Love that smooth overdrive and the cleans are great. This showcases exactly why I love EL-84 amps so much.

Great job with the clip Steve, your playing sounds sweet! Scott, that thing really rocks! :fing2:
