Yeah man, they only sell the components/faceplates/chassis/trannies/etc. You gotta get a cab and speakers separately.

the combo/top version relaties to side, where the tubes are mounted
mainly. eg. in the 5e3's combo version, the tubes are mounted on the
opposite side of the front. front plate upwards - tubes hanging down.
the top version has the frontplate to the front and the tubes upwards.
hope this was understandable english

Wow, that's really cool. I'm confused though, I looked at pictures of the 18W combo (after clicking the 'Complete' link). It doesn't look like a combo to me? Are you meant to do something with that thing? Like put it in a box?

yeah youre meant to get a cabinet for it

I like nik a lot. They offer good values on a lot of stuff. The shipping can get a tad bit high, but it balances out with the low prices pretty well. Also, he can do custom stuff with much less hassle than some folks here in the states.

I'm such a big believer in the trannies I get here that I have never bought any of his. I do buy his chassis' and boards and some capacitors that I can't get elsewhere.

And his clone circuits are pretty darn close to the real deal, most times dead-on.
