CGCGCC tuning...WOW

so I found this tuning after experimenting with Open C for awhile.

it is basically open C but with the high E tuned down to C for a 12 string like sound and sounds very good with slide and for Middle Eastern type licks and riffs.

Anyone else use this tuning ? I found out Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar, Grady and Sit Down Servant uses this tuning sometimes for bluesier songs like the one posted below



I'm still struggling to find chord shapes besides frets barred...

A friend of mine keeps a resonator in this tuning, it sounds massive.

Ive been trying out a drop D Tuning. I tune as if in E, just a whole step down

I like drop A from standard E tuning. Unfortunately I use 9s so I need to be delicate with the fretting. I get a lot of mileage from EODM songs with it.
