Changed string on WG, heard cracking when restringing

Hey all quick question.

So I wanted to clean my wolfgang this week, i've been doin 3 hours or so a day on it now and the fretboard was kinda getting a little gunky from sweat/debris and stuff. So I took off all the strings, cleaned it all up, put new strings on it.

When I was restringing it and then tightening the tuners, I started hearing little cracks coming from the bridge. I googled it and I saw few posts saying this was the floyd rose bridge re-positioning after getting tension back. I didn't notice any visible cracking or anything.

I have been playing it, seems fine, seems normal. No cause for concern?

Springs dragging across the body cavity perhaps

It means the neck is cracking and the bridge is coming loose. Send it to me and I'll take care of it for you.

like little metallic pinging noises? tink... tink... kinda thing? i wouldnt worry about it. could be the bridge getting back into place, could be a little drag across the metal nut... i wouldnt worry about it

Floyds make a lot of weird noises. Part and parcel of owning such a beast.

It sounded more like a wood crick, kinda hard to explain/even remember now. I think it's ok though. Seems to play fine. I looked for cracks/damage and couldn't see anything.
