im having trouble changing my rg470's stock bridge pickup to a SD SH8 invader.
ive tried the SD website schematic and it doesnt work.
4 wires come out of the invader, a red one, white one, black, green and bare.
anybody have a diagram for a standard ibanez with 2 HUM, 1 single, 1 vol, 1 tone?
or does anyone know how to put the invader on, without knocking out the other two pickups?

For standard series humbucking operation, attach the black wire from the invader to the switch, green and bare to the back of the vvolume pot, and solder the red and white wires together and tape them off. If in this configuration the Invader is out of phase with the other pickups, move the green to switch and the black to the back of the pot.

"Ibanez red = SD black
Ibanez white = SD red/white
Ibanez sheild = SD green/plain"

does this mean ibanez white = SD red AND white, or SD red OR white?

I play ibanez stuff, what you want to do if you are only replacing the V-8, is to take the black duncan invader wire and solder where the V-8's red wire was, then twist the white/red invader wires together and solder them to where the V-8's white wire was.(this is for coil cut)
the invaders green/bare go to the top of the pot
it will be in phase with the s-1 in the middle :)

it means red and white (soldered together)
wire it this way and it should work! My Duncan is in phase with my ibanez V1/S1 Combo! So i think it should be in pahse with yours too
