Changing pups in a guitar w/ gain booster knob

Hey,
my guitar, a Jackson DKMG, has a gain booster knob on it, known as the "Active EMG® TurboCharger® (0-20dB Gain Control)". Am I going to be able to use it if I change pickups? Will I need any extra work/parts to make the switch? Switching from passives to passives.

you should be able to pop the new pups in and have no problems using the boost
