I've got a 68 Fender Bassman head, with the output impedence reading 4 ohms. I bought a 4x12 SUNN cabinet for it several months ago and it sounds great, but its output impedence is 16 ohms!
Now I read in a post a while back that somebody had a switch on one of their 4x12 speaker cabinets that switches it from 16 ohms to 4 ohms. I've been trying to figure it out and it doesn't make any sense to me. Do any of you guys know how could I make my 16 ohm cabinet 4 ohms? Would a speaker change be necessary or could i just rewire it?
Thanks bros.
