Changing strings issue

Yesterday i want to restring my SG for the first time, and i observed that the string must be clambed from beneath. The Tuners are japanese made Gotoh SD-90 Vintage.
The tuners were installed by local guitar service man, so he get my set of 10-48 on, and it was all good, no issues with them, they are stabile. the problem is i never restring on guitar with tuners like that. did someone got any clip or something else refered to that kind of tuners. i wanted to restring but i don't really know how !

This is the first example that my browser offered up.

Re: Changing strings issue

Gotoh Mag Locks are awesome, but they are different than other locking tuners. Instructional videos are on Gotoh's Website.

They are the best lockers out there IMO. They keep the bulk and weight down, they allow locking tuners to fit "vintage" sized holes, and they maintain 90% of the "vintage" look. Plus they can be ordered with many options.

Re: Changing strings issue

So, you think these Gotoh SD-90 are locking tuners? they are older version made in japan. i don't think these are looking tuners at all .

Re: Changing strings issue

If anyone have that older Gotoh SD-90 made in japan non-locking tuners on a guitar, let me know.. i wanna restring that SG the right way, to keep perfect tuning stability ! the newer are locking and have the same name, except the MG which mean magnum lock or something. i have the older non-locking version of it !
