Changing wiring

I've got my ESP back after my tech changed the pickups on it. After testing it recently I found out he reversed the two volumes. Normally the closest to the neck is the neck volume and the other the bridge (obviously). I asked him to install a coil split push/pull knob on the bridge volume and did that correctly, but he made it the neck volume.

What wiring do I have to change to reverse the volumes but keeping the coil split intact? Is it a lot of soldering or could it be done in 5 minutes?

I don't have time to get used to this after playing this guitar for 6 years

Re: Changing wiring

Take the positive lead coming from each pickup that connects to each volume and swap them. Unless he cut the wires, then you might not have enough lead to do that. But if you paid a tech to do it, I would take back to him and make him fix it. Having a schematic showing which pot should be which would be good ammo also to make him fix it.

Re: Changing wiring

Sequencing the three pots as Neck Vol., Bridge Vol., Master Tone is conventional on Gibson Explorers and Vees and numerous Hamer models.

Bridge Vol., Neck Vol., Master Tone is common on numerous ESP/LTD designs. (My LTD EC-401w is like this.) The tech appears to have followed this convention.

Re: Changing wiring

Regardless of the way it usually is, it is different than it was when you brought it in. You can switch those 2 wires or just bring it back to him and let him do it.
