I think I've decided on the Journeyman. Aside from finally (11 years after the fact) fulfilling my desire for a 1 pickup, shreddin' axe, it just looks like way too damn much guitar for the money.

I bought a Charvel Standard a few months ago and its a great guitar for the money. I gotta say though, i didn't like the JB bridge in it. With the maple fretboard the JB was too bright and sounded kinda thrashy. I ended up swapping pickups with my Fender Esquire GT. The JB should work better in the journeyman, rosewood fretboards always seem mellower.
