Charvel promod San Dimas: '59 & JB

Hi all,
a very quick question for those who have this guitar (made in jap ). Duncan '59 (neck) and JB (bridge) are 4 conductor cable?

Yeah, but stock wiring is without the splits. I replaced the volume pot with a push/pull on my San Dimas, and rigged it for splits.

I should do that. I love the way the JB and 59 sound together when clean. I bet they really sound fantastic when in single coil mode together.

If all true, and if as you say, S.Duncan '59 and jb on San Dimas are 4 conductor, I order it... right now!

(better than spending money with Warmoth... )

That is the Ping manufactured tremolo, and is not the model that comes on the Charvels.

The Floyd 1000 is what comes on the USA Pro Mods.

That is the model number for the MIJ models. I have no idea if there is a spec change from the USA trem.

The only think that I want is understand if this is a good tremolo or not.
I don't think *like or better* an original FR
(pay less for more? Too good to be true...)

What I fear is that in reality it's only a cheap FR version
(like takeuchi...).

I have two pro mod charvels in addition to a old 81 san dimas and a 84 baretta with a OFR.
the floyds on my pro mids are just as good as any floyd i have owned
i have not had one single problem or gripe about these floyds on the latest charvels. you get a whole hell of a lot of guitar for what these charvels cost new or used.
they feel,sound,look amazingly great!

The OEM model (1000) that came on the USA Pro Mods is built to the same quality as the Schaller made trems. You will have no trouble it.

I have not owned or tried the OEM trem that comes on the MIJ Pro Mods, so I can't comment.
